DAKSH FOUNDATION

Founded in 2007, Daksh Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building an equitable, resilient, and self-sustaining society. For over 18 years, we have been working at the intersection of education, health, environment, and livelihoods, creating opportunities for underserved communities across India.

We believe in the power of community-driven solutions. Our programs are designed to empower individuals, uplift families, and strengthen communities, ensuring that development is not just delivered but deeply rooted and sustained.

Daksh Foundation is a leading operational NGO that has established projects across 11 states in India, reaching over 5.5 lakh people, including Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana.

We have been working for almost two decades and contributing to the crusade against illiteracy and poverty. Every child deserves a chance, every woman deserves dignity, and every community deserves to thrive. Daksh Foundation strongly believes in this and has been working towards it.

Over the years, Daksh Foundation has established several projects in the areas of Education (Formal/Non-Formal/Remedial), Women Empowerment (Reproductive Health, Self Help Groups, Livelihood, Microfinance), Institutional Care, Community Health, ECCD, Vocational Training, Environmental Sustainability and Differently Abled. These projects are operational across India.

When we started Daksh Foundation in 2007, our vision was simple yet profound — to create opportunities for people who are often left behind, and to build communities that can stand strong on their own. Over the past 18 years, this vision has guided every step we have taken.

From our humble beginnings in Madhya Pradesh to reaching over 5.5 lakh people across 11 states, Daksh Foundation’s journey has been one of hope, resilience, and transformation. We have seen children become first-generation learners, women stepping into dignified livelihoods, and communities embracing sustainable practices that protect both people and the planet.

Our strength lies in our approach: working with communities, not just for them. By combining innovation, partnerships, and grassroots participation, we ensure that our programs create lasting, meaningful change.
